About me:
I have known since I was 5 years old that I was meant to be a teacher. It is exciting to now begin my eleventh year teaching 5th grade. I graduated from Winthrop University and earned a Masters Degree at American College of Education. I grew up in Lexington, South Carolina but after college made Rock Hill Home. My dog Tucker and I live in York!
My Favorite things-
I LOVE to be with friends, family and my dog, Tucker. My favorite color is lime green, it is bright, cheerful and exciting! Fall is the best season of the year-cool weather, pumpkin flavors and MY BIRTHDAY! This year I turn 34! I have a dog who is 10 years old-he gets into all kinds of trouble but keeps me on my toes. In my free time I love to sip on iced coffee, snack on salsa and chips, play games, read, craft and spend time with friends and family!
My Job:
I have the best job in the whole wide world. I get to spend each day with the coolest and smartest fifth graders in South Carolina. I believe ALL students can learn and that students deserve an education specific to their needs and learning styles. In my class we make a family- in families we don't always get along but we always love each other. Our class goal isn't to have an easy year but a successful one which takes hard work and determination. We each play a big role in our class and school-we all have something to offer to each other and together we can meet any goal. This year I look forward to growing together and conquering new fears or struggles. Welcome to a wonderful year in 5th grade!!!
